A Birds Eye View with 2 Secured Decks and vaulted ceilings, the Villa Makoshi is a 1,352 sq ft home that will accommodate 4 people with a single cot for a 5th guest. The penthouse has air conditioning throughout all the bedrooms, kitchen and living room.

Our fully equipped kitchen will accommodate all your cooking needs. There are 3 main grocery stores in Kralendijk, from fresh produce to meat, dairy, cereals and canned goods. The best part is you can drink the water right from the tap.

Each of the 2 bedrooms has twin beds, bathroom, shower & air conditioning. In addition, each bedroom has its own closet and dresser space complete with a security safe for your wallets and passports.

The living room area has its own air conditioning unit as well, Internet HDTV, a DVD player and secured wireless internet for your laptop are all provided at no additional cost. We have a small selection of books, magazines and DVDs for your enjoyment.

There are 2 decks, both are secured for storage with the largest deck overlooking the common area and pool. This deck is equipped with a patio table, chairs, lounge chair, swing and ceiling fans for your outside relaxation; overlooking a tree top view of Kralendijk. The smaller deck has a propane gas barbeque for the outdoor cooking enthusiast.

A large rinse tank and shower is located outside on the south side of the villa for rinsing all your scuba and snorkeling gear. No gear is allowed inside the villa bathrooms. Both decks are equipped with rods for hanging all your gear to dry.

Sea Turtle Tracking Update

On December 11, 2011, satellite signals indicated that Jklynn had started her migration home in a northerly direction and by December 22nd, the female Hawksbill was just 80 kilometers south of the Dominican Republic, swimming 716 kilometers or 445 miles to get there.
January 15 she was in the coastal waters of one of the Dominican Republic’s most beautiful beaches and is an area where some Hawksbill and many Leatherback turtles nest. Looking at her average rate of speed, she traveled from Bonaire to that area in approximately 13 days.
